Lower Secondary Education (Senior 1 – Senior 4)
The lower secondary school curriculum follows the competence-based approach introduced by the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC). This system moves away from rote memorization and focuses on: Applied Learning: Students engage in hands-on projects, research, and real-life applications of their knowledge. Broad Subject Coverage: Core subjects include Mathematics, English, Sciences, Social Studies, ICT, Entrepreneurship, and Life Skills. Students complete four years at this level and sit for the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams at the end of Senior 4.
Upper Secondary Education (Senior 5 – Senior 6)
